Handmade incense is the perfect way to fill any home with the scents of nature. It combines the aromas of dried herbs, spices, barks, berries, and fruits to create a lovely ambience and aroma. It is perfect for space cleansing prior to ritual or spell work, clearing energies after visitors or a quarrel, setting intentions and creating space for meditation, and inviting a peaceful and spiritual ambience. Note that handmade incense contains pure botanicals and is not as highly scented as synthetic fragrances.
Ditch the toxic chemicals and go all-natural with these sensuous blends!

Cone instructions: use an incense burner with a grate, a small bowl filled with ash, sand, salt, or gravel, or a fire-safe plate or dish. Light the tip of the cone, wait a few seconds until the tip glows red, then carefully fan or blow out the flame.
Loose instructions: place an incense charcoal on an incense burner with a grate. Light the edge of the charcoal while holding it with tweezers. Place the lit charcoal in the center of the burner. Wait until at least three-quarters of the charcoal is red-hot, it should be a light grey all over. This takes about 2-5 minutes. If the charcoal is not almost completely red-hot, the incense will probably smother and therefore extinguish the charcoal. Sprinkle a pinch of incense next to or directly on top of the hot charcoal to release its fragrance and produce smoke. Don’t use too much incense, the burning charcoal needs to breathe (fire needs oxygen). You can continue to sprinkle incense on the hot coal as desired.
